FAQs
Q: Why do I need a humidor?
A: Cigars are made of straight tobacco leaves, so it is a porous, organic material. As such, they absorb and adsorb moisture to maintain homeostasis with the surrounding environment. In order to ensure you are able to enjoy your cigars, they need to maintain a humidity level between 65-72% relative humidity. We don't believe in keeping your home at this humidity level unless you want the inside of your house to be a damp jungle so that is why there are humidors. If a cigar is too dry, it will ignite and burn like a dry leave - because it is a dry leaf. If it is too wet, it'll be like breathing in a dense fog and be really hard to keep lit. 65-72% allows the cigar to ignite easily while still maintain the integrity of the cigar in composition, flavor, and profile. It helps bring out the true flavors of the cigar rather than smoking a campfire or foggy bog.
Q: My package says it was delivered but I don't have it. What do I do?
A: There are 2 most likely causes to this: 1) It was scanned at delivery but was forgotten by delivery, or 2) it was scanned and dropped off at delivery, but someone stole it (spouse, kid, neighbor, felon, or in some cases the delivery person). The solution is the same for both: reach out to the postal system you utilized to see if they can track it down. Sadly, there is nothing we can do. We have been victimized by people claiming their package was stolen and then seeing pictures of them with BOTH their original and replacement. We want to provide you with the best possible items, but we can't keep doing that if we pay for someone else's mistakes or impulses.
